Terms and Conditions
Dealer Orders
PARTS and STOCK DISCOUNTS
Dealers will receive a 30% discount on parts and stock orders will be supplied with an extra 5% discount if the following conditions apply;
1. The total order must exceed $1,000.00 ex GST (Dealer price on base discount).
2. The stock order must include more than three unique items.
3. The order must be placed within the first three working days of the month.
SME may take up to five business days to despatch a stock order.
Dealers will receive a 20% discount on Walker Mower and Razorback whole goods and accessories, and a 18% discount on Bobcat Mowers whole goods and accessories.
Dealers will receive a 15% discount on engines and a 20% discount on engine parts.
PRIORITY ORDERS
1. Must be submitted before 12.30pm for same-day despatch.
2. Will incur a freight charge and they will always be sent on the fastest freight courier.
Backorders
When placing an order dealers choose how they want their backorders (if any) are to be sent.
The options are:
- Send backordered part as soon as SME receives it.
- Only send order when all stock is available.
- When backordered parts arrive, send with next parts order.
FREIGHT CHARGES
Freight charges on spare parts orders will be paid by SME for any orders over the value of $300.00 excluding orders marked as ‘priority order’.
Machine orders are free into store. Decks and accessories are only free into store when ordered with a machine
Freight for engines will be capped at $50.00 + GST
Accessories
Walker Mowers accessories can be fitted by SME upon request at $100.00 incl GST per item.
Items Returned for Credit
Updated Conditions for SME Spare Parts Return – 1st June 2023
The dealer agrees that items returned will incur a 10% re-stocking fee on invoice value.
Items that have been discontinued or were purchased over 12 months ago may be denied or could attract a larger re-stocking fee. This is at the discretion of SME and will be articulated when the authorisation is given.
The dealer will need to fill out a Spare Parts Return Form found on the SME Dealer web portal. After filling out the Spare Parts Return Form, the dealer needs to wait for authorisation from SME before returning the items.
It is the dealer’s responsibility to return the items to SME – Wagga.
Items will only be credited to the dealer once they have been received and inspected at SME Wagga.
Marketing Support
Up to 2% of the dealer's annual purchases from SME can be used for a marketing allowance. Dealers can claim up to 50% of their marketing costs per marketing activity from the marketing allowance. SME's contribution will be credited to the dealer's account in support of the following marketing of our brands;
- Digital Media Support
- Indoor and outdoor signage
- Vehicle signage
- Promotional items
- Staff uniforms
- Customer Hamper payments
Dealers are required to Provide a copy of the marketing material and proof of purchase to SME within 30 days of the invoice for the marketing activity. Where non-SME products are included, SME will contribute on a pro-rata basis.
Before committing to marketing and expecting SME to contribute 50%, please confirm via email with SME's marketing team (marketing@smemowers.com.au) that an adequate allowance is available (2% of the dealer's year-to-date turnover with SME) or as determined by SME's Marketing Team. Artworks, logos and designs must represent SME's brand correctly. The Marketing support budget will be renewed each year and does not accrue per year.
